As a Business Analyst working on customer projects, you will be responsible for understanding client requirements, analyzing business processes, and translating them into actionable solutions. You will play a key role in driving successful project outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with end customers to elicit and document their business requirements, objectives, and success criteria.
Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and QA testers, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather insights, clarify requirements, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
Conduct research and analysis to provide strategic recommendations, identify market trends, and ensure that solutions align with industry best practices.
Create detailed business requirement documents, user stories, and other project artifacts to effectively communicate customer needs to the development team.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, ensuring that delivered solutions meet customer expectations and are free of defects.
Provide post-implementation support, analyzing user feedback and addressing any issues or enhancement requests that may arise.
Continuously monitor project progress, ensuring that milestones are met and any deviations are promptly addressed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on customer projects, preferably in a finance or payments domain.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear and concise requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements using standard techniques and tools.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Certification(s) such as CBAP or CCBA is a plus.
